Explicit title : could it be possible to allow lobby leaders to put STV connects in their lobbies ?

It could be pretty interesting in several ways I believe : learning the competitive mechanics, improving knowledge about a class, see friends/"popular" players playing, chilling, etc.

I could be displayed only when the lobby start for example.

(I searched for a related suggestion and only found this https://forums.tf2ce...rcetv#entry7224)

Sounds good, but I don't really see the real need for STV. Players usually like to play themselves, not watch a lobby, unless it's an interesting one like prem players etc. On the other hand, this would be quite easy to accomplish, make a button called 'Join STV' and players will be sent ingame to the STV similar to 'Join Game'.

Since we currently don't have this option, heres a console command you can try to use to connect to STV of a particular server.

connect (IP of that server without port):27020; password tv

If that doesn't work, the port or tv must have been changed. Feel free to reply if you need some help.

It's been fun, thanks for the ride.

Actually, this feature has stuck somewhere between the front- and backend. ))

Or in Advanced Lobbies ? That could be really interesting imo

Ye, that would be a cool thing to implement in the future.

I support this proposal. I like spectating via SourceTV, and this would require little development effort.

I suggest that lobby spectators be presented with the Join SourceTV button from the moment the lobby is created, like the Join Mumble button works.
