No, once you ready up, you commit to playing that Lobby.

Turns out, a lobby leader can kick you still if you ask.

But why say ready if you are not?

This really needs to be fixed tbh. This is the main cause of people "baiting" the ready with the hope that someone in a slot they want won't ready up so they can take it.

Here's a scenario that has happened to me maybe three times total:

Lobby fills. Ready up period begins.

I ready up at the end of the 45 seconds.  Somebody hasn't readied, so the lobby doesn't launch. Instead, it gives me the 3 minute coffee cup timer (used for pre-readying), minus the few seconds before the ready period expired.

Then, after I realize I can't play the next lobby, the lobby fills AGAIN, but before I can unclick the pre-ready coffee cup. Then it treats it as if I readied up AGAIN. But I didn't because now I have to go pick up my little sister from school.

That is not the fault of TF2C, but if I were you, I would remember in advance what you have to do before committing to a lobby. Un-click the pre-ready button earlier if you know you might not be able to make it in the next ready-up round.

It really isn't a big deal for me; I just use the method someone else mentioned of joining a different lobby page to remove myself from the one I readied up for.

That is not the fault of TF2C

It's a problem sometimes for the rest of the lobby if it launches and someone has to immediately rep themselves. That makes it TF2C's problem.

I play on TF2Center to fill time. If something better comes up, I do that.

I was just contributing things that have affected your users' experience negatively. Sorry for the contribution.

We at tf2c are not about to make a "change your mind after readied up" button.  And what you are suggestion is a feature request and NOT A BUG.
