My idea is that in a lobby and theres someone has taken the class on the team you want, you can reserve it so when/if the player leaves that slot, you get it instantly.

Just so everyone knows. This idea was previously discussed, rejected and archived here. I have approved this thread since it follows on from an archived thread and proposes a different idea.

For me it is sounds like same "post reservation" feature. My opinion stays same.

Perhaps have this feature but you can only reserve a slot by pressing the pre-ready up button. That way you can't be afk and reserving a slot and you can only reserve it for the duration of the button.
