The lobby in question was one hosted by Sigafoo, one that happened be hosted on a server with a banned Soldier unlock. As I recall, the player in question (Trick3y) was being very antagonistic and offensive to the lobby leader, so I started a !rep for him. I felt he was being rather unsportsmen-like and didn't fit the "good spirit" that all lobbies should follow. As three other people agreed with me, I don't see anything wrong with reporting an offensive player for being unsportsmen-like.

If what I did was "!rep abuse", then I would like a plain explanation as to what "!rep abuse" is defined as, since it isn't listed anywhere on the FAQ or rules posted on the site. This would serve to help other players understand what would constitute "!rep abuse" and help people avoid committing it.

So Sigafoo hosted a koth_asheville and used his own custom white list that banned black box. Trick3y was complaining about it but everyone wanted to start the game anyways. Trick3y proceeded to deny the lobby from starting so 4 people including me and the 3 others mentioned on the other ban thread !rep'd him so the lobby could start. After that happened, Trick3y then went on to complain to the tf2center admins and started a big fuss in the tf2center chat where discussion of bans and rules don't even belong. Everything he said can be found in the text document linked.

I honestly feel like none of us deserved to be punished just because we wanted a lobby to start and someone wasn't letting it happen. We, or at least I, reported him because he wasn't letting the lobby start for no good reason. It isn't a better excuse than someone joining the wrong class on purpose and preventing the other lobby players from playing their class. I didn't !rep him because I simply felt like it or didn't like him, I !rep'ed him because didn't care about the other 17 people in the game and prevented them from playing the lobby.

Apparently I was banned from creating lobbies. See post http://forums.tf2cen...team-011209614/

I have modified the ugc config to allow the base jumper (since I've never seen anyone actually abuse it and it's fun to play with.) Also have the blackbox and soda popper banned.

Looking through the two places where rules could exist over this http://tf2center.com/faq#2_3 and http://tf2center.com/rules

I see no rules governing over this. Now I'm okay with that ruling if that's how this /has/ to be done and I can revert my ugc config back to it's standard version. Obviously never meant to be malicious, just personally do not enjoy playing with the soda popper or black box.

I hope to have my lobby creation ban lifted and if rule is that things have to be standard I'll revert my config.

i merged them since they are from same lobby.

 

Not readying up a lobby can be seen as trolling, even if it was due to someone having a custom whitelist. 

unbanning Rim and battle.
