whenever i open TF2Center, i always look to see if any friends are online. ive noticed that the number goes to 5 or 6, then goes to zero, then to the actual number of friends. nothing really major, just annoying.

I think this is known defect, but as you say, very low priority.

This happens under high concurrency; hard to reproduce, hard to fix.
