When I attempt to down load the mappacks, it says that the webpage isn't avalible. I don't know if it's just me or if it is everyone.

Update: from now on map packs are obsolete: fast_dl url to http://fakkelbrigade.eu/maps/ isset on the game server, so that will be easier for all ;-)

Could you mention this in the intro pages? Because when I checked out tf2center for the first time yesterday, STEP 1 (download map pack) is broken. That's a bad first impression.

 

The rest of my first tf2center experience: very impressed, great job, thanks!

Because they thought that the service had suddenly been (partly) abandoned and/or deprecated. There was no warning there that the downloads don't work anymore.

 

The link at the main page really should get replaced soon.

I think as an Admin, a level of penitence and humility should be required for people who are new to this site and not full understanding how it works. Instead of getting hostile and defensive why don't you try a different approach?  

So that link the admin posted has extra an extra word on it which makes it not work.

I believe that's where SA7's confusion is from.
