I had played on lobbies during the open beta testing period. However, that was before user achievements came in. I don't exactly know if this is a bug or i had to play during the user achievements in beta testing too, but i am pretty sure i should get it. There surely is some kind of log held for each lobby and player respectively, isn't there?

No such logs were kept before then? Hm.

 

I am sure i can further prove this. So let's say, when did the user achievements get into play?

The lobby counter at my profile page says i have played 13 lobbies, and the "TF2C Veteran" counter has counted 4 lobbies played.

If the user achievements were released during/at the end of the beta testing period, then this counts.

Couple things:
-It means the early beta period, which is the 2013 era. You had played during the open-beta, which was all of 2014.
-The TF2C Veteran badge only counts lobbies played since it was created, which was the first of January.
