I used to play lobbies all the time until the new TF2Center update was released, now I'll join a lobby as my main and everything will go smoothly until I actually try to connect to the game server, whereupon I will be immediately booted to the main TF2 menu with no way to reconnect without a server password. This has happened every game I have tried to enter post-update.

If you can give a lobby ID, I can review the logs from the server.   There are several reasons that this could happen.
