Hey, I was banned for kicking people from my server when trying to reserve a slot in the lobby. Here's my ban thread, it shows me kicking and asking how to reserve a slot.

Ban is expired.
The point here is that it is much more friendly to reserve than to kick. I have kicked on occasion, but I usually profusely apologize and work with the person I have kicked. Even created entire lobbies for them, or promised that they would get the slot next lobby.
