I subbed for the engineer spot. As TF2 launched, it decided to update. Meanwhile, TF2Center kicked me for AFK. I rejoined the lobby, and I received my spot. Rejoining the server, I received this message in TF2.
"Disconnect: Only Lobby players may enter this game."

Problem: I should be able to enter the server if I have a lobby slot reservation, even though I was kicked automatically. Perhaps subs should get a bit more time to join the game than players who join new lobbies.

Just curious.  How long approximately did the update take?  Our devs may be able to use this timing information to adjust parameters for the sub immunity logic.
