More than 5 of our team mates did not want to you use minis it was a serious lobby. We wanted to win. We asked him in mumble to stop spamming coms and take the game more serious. But he just trolled us.

You were throwing pretty much the whole game. I'm surprised you weren't repped earlier.

Unless there was a bug preventing you from switching loadouts (which can be the case sometimes), minis for defense; seriously?

 

The stopping power and area denial of a full level three sentry compared to the feeble spam-ability of minis is uncomparable.

 

Although you may be skilled enough to utilise new and different methods from 'meta' loadouts, teammates may not feel the same way, especially when they don't know you properly.

We had 6-7 players that requested that he should not use minis. They were not helping us at all that's why we were rolled. Also he was repped out witch means that 4 teammates disagreed with capes actions. Also there was no bug preventing cape from switching loadouts he even was using level 3's on offence witch failed.

I just wanted to note that I was neither trolling nor spamming mumble comms.

 

And yes TuG, I am aware of how different sentries work. I just don't think this eschewing meta is a reppable offense.

 

Also, we were getting pretty rolled, regardless of my own individual actions.

Believe me, it is. The engineer is the backbone of the team, and you denying your team of full sentries is like the demo denying the team of stickies when they need them or medic running vaccinator in the push. It's annoying and unhelpful. I would rep our engi if he was running minis on defense without much reason.
