About 90% of the time a lobby I'm in starts, it doesn't connect me automatically at all when I have the game running.

If the game is not running, or in the rare instances that while running it does attempt to connect me, I always get "Bad Challenge" error.

This is not a big problem for me, I have the habit of copy+pasting the connect info, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Does the reconnect button work?

Are you using Chrome? There's a known issue where if you join a Mumble Required lobby, then Mumble will launch but you won't be automatically connected to the TF2 server.

This happens to me too, I just end up hitting "Reconnect" Also, when I join the mumble server, I do not go directly to the channel.

Mind helping me out?

If you are using Chrome, Mumble will connect but not TF2 (on Mumble req lobbies). There isn't much TF2C can do, it's just the way Chrome works.

If you're using another browser, then there's an issue.

As for the channels stuff, I've had the same problem forever. It seems that it's a Mumble side problem but it's hard to tell. It's not really that big a bug (and it's not clear how many people actually have the bug), so there's little focus on it for the moment. Sorry!

What OS are you using?

Using Chrome, and no Mumble doesn't connect directly to the channel, nor the server.

Ah, and I'm running Windows 8 x64.

But yeah, I've seen too many people get reported for not joining mumble lobby because they don't know how to or what to do.

So If you guys could look in to it, I'd appreciate it<3

The problem with Chrome sadly isn't fixable, basically it's too paranoid to open multiple things at once.

One option would be to detect if the user is using Chrome, and have some messages pop up explaining what's up.

Mumble has never put me in the right channel, I just put myself there.

Also, your quote isn't quoting much of anything.

I've noticed it only put you in the right channel if you have mumble closed before clicking the "Join Mumble" button

That is exactly the workaround here, since this is a Mumble-issue. Rumors say that this has been fixed in 1.2.8, but this has never been confirmed.

I've never ever been connected to the right channel. I use a macbook air i5.

I press 'Join Mumble' (or wait for it to auto-launch in mumble-required lobbies), but I have to find the right channel myself.

I will create a pinned superthread.  I think we all know that mumble integration relies on a bunch of factors and is not perfectly ironed out as of yet.

Believe me, when it works, it is nice.  :D
