I'm not saying that it would actually be a good or practical idea for the site to use but hypothetically I think it might be fun to try something to this extent.

What are your thoughts?  Is this something you would join sometimes, or would you always just pass it by for a lobby with set classes?

I would never play in something like this but that's because I pretty much hate most of the classes in this game so about 5/9 times I would be unhappy. I think this is probably something a small group of people might be interested. You could always make a poll on the forums, or if the functionality isn't there you could make one using this site

Captains draft is really cool, and tf2.mix.euhl / tf2.mix.nahl run it constantly

Those games are superb, but that is because their rules are pretty strict. I'm having a hard time seeing people getting restricted on TF2Center for not showing up.

Benefits are doubtful, yet requires a lot of resources to implement this. Maybe we will return to this after developing appropriate ranking system.
