Explanation for unban: I got banned for kicking people from my lobby. I did that because they were unfriendly and insulting others. I told them to stop or I will kick them and if they didn't stop I kicked them. If they continued after rejoining i warned them once more and if they didn't stop then i banned them for the rest of this lobby (Yes I used the Server map time so they would be unbanned if the lobby is played until the max). Of course there were some madness kicks if someone played fulltime sniper/heavy/pyro because that is just annoying and my team was getting mad at their team even though it's only one players responsibility. I guess I got banned because you either think that is enough or you only got told half of the story. That's about it. Bye

The rules state that any kick has to be followed by a ban request.

7.2: RCON Usage
Leaders must not use RCON unless necessary. Use of kick and ban commands must also accompany a ban request on the forums. This can only be used when users are violating TF2Center rules, otherwise please use !rep instead.

So is this ban permanent?

 

EDIT: Since the rules say every ban is permanent you guys are really going too fast quite a bit and all that without a warning. GG guys i guess this is it. I had a fun time trying to keep my lobbies free from dickheads and it was fun getting banned for that.

No one's going to come to the forums to read the rules, and that section does not appear on the main site. Hell, I made a lobby just to make sure you didn't conveniently hide them in there, but nope.

 

I find it unreasonable to have expected timo, or anyone for that matter, to have found these rules if they don't appear on the main site.

And seriously, putting those rules somewhere on the lobby page if you're a creator is a good idea
