While this is more of a personal gripe than anything, it slightly bugs me (Probably more than it really should, but whatever. I've started writing this post and I'll finish it damnit!).

Anyway onto my issue with the current quoteblocks, right now a quote looks like this

Hi, I'm a quote

Looks fine, right? Well, I'd agree however there is one little thing that is bugging me about them and has been since I first saw it.

That little black line on the left hand side of them, why does that need to be there and why does that bug me so much? Anyway the changes proposed are below.

Under p.citation in "prettify.css" as the file is called change

border-left:2px solid #98938d

to

border-left:2px solid #e5e0db

And hey presto, everything looks neat now


As I said earlier in this post, feel free to ignore as I really have no idea why this bothers me but it just does.

Are we even using the default stylesheet? Or even an officially distributed theme? Would it be worth the time to suggest this change to IPB officially?

I believe this is one of the styles created by IP.Board. I'm not entirely sure though, I don't have a ton of experience with it. If it is I would definitely recommend it.
 
I'm also really glad this is implemented here as well.
