Its pretty strange, in non-mumble requried lobbies, tf2 will open and connect. In mumble requried lobbies, mumble will open and connect but tf2 wont untill i hit reconnect. Just letting you guys know.

I thought that was actually the intention. So you can open mumble before you open TF2 so you have overlay. 

In case that really is a bug: I have win7 and chrome.

yea its good to have the overlay . just open tf2 manually !

Pretty sure this is supposed to happen for the reasons already mentioned.

Having talked with the devs, this is a problem with Chrome (which is why it I thought it was a bug). Basically, Chrome makes it so that you can only open either TF2 or Mumble . For mumble lobbies, they decided to have Mumble open first for the reasons stated above. Ideally though Mumble and TF2 would both launch.

 

There doesn't seem to be a realistic fix at the moment, but it's being looked into.

Resolving this as it's a persistent bug that we can't fix for now - chrome bug
