so basically, I've got this tf2 problem that make it impossible to connect tf2 server unless its via the IP through the console.... so when i want to start a lobby i can't connect cause it needs a password but i can't use the password using connection through steam console...

This isn't a TF2C side bug. However, you can write 'password yourpasswordhere' without quotes in the console, which stores the password. Then, entering the server IP should work.

You should verify your game cache to solve the problem. Otherwise, take it to the steam forums.

What's your OS and browser?

Every time I join a lobby and it starts, It will not automatically connect me. If I click reconnect, it does nothing. Eventually I get repped and kicked

 

This has started happening maybe ~1 week ago

When all players are ready and the mumble and tf2 launch pop ups are supposed to come up, IT doesn't for me and when i try to click rejoin or join mumble the buttons do nothing, help plz

Does this only happen when joining Mumble required lobbies?

Hello

 

I'm new here and the only two times I tried to join a lobby it wouldn't automatically launch me into the server or mumble, once everyone was ready. I managed to join the second one through via a friend. I run chrome and windows 8. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've had this problem for awhile. On mumble required lobbies, when the application launch query shows up, it only launches mumble. I have to manually launch for the server. Here, the join server button works for me, but by default, only mumble is launching.

Windows 7, Chrome.

I switched my browser to Internet Explorer, and now it connects me to the server when everyone is ready. I have to manually join the mumble, and there's no heavy shouting at me when the lobby is ready. But it actually works with IE instead of chrome. Maybe some of the other people with a similar problem to mine should try switching their browser. Hope this helps.
