Alternatively, a toggle to turn off main chat. When I first joined TF2Center, the chats were pretty great/alright. But it seems as more people are now into this service, the chat is simply worst than a 4Chan IRC channel. It doesn't seem to be used for what it was intended, if I even know what the main channel is intended for in the first place.

there is a limit already, It's just fairly large. I don't really see a problem with the current chat setup. There is spam protection at least.

The short term outcome would be the same, since we have a lot of other stuff on our mind right now. However, if Foxy has a solution for this, he has my blessing.

We have blocked Zaigo Chat and other things that break chat.
