I'm aware this is probably the most puny and irrelevant suggestion someone can give, but I'd like to ask:

I'm well aware like 90% of the TF2C community is male, and I'm no exception. But the point is there are also other genders playing on here, so I'm just thinking...

Wouldn't it be good to change "Sub on his way: xxx" to "Sub on their way: xxx" ?

I think it would be a good idea. In my opinion , It's something that can easily be changed as well.

https://owl.english....esource/595/01/their isn't right. If one wants to avoid this it's probably easiest to simply reword the phrase entirely. Something like "Scout replacement incoming."

Thanks for the input.

This is not a high priority right now, so don't expect it to be fixed any time soon.

Actually, using they/them is grammatically correct.

http://www.oxforddic.../english/they

see definition [2]

[SINGULAR] Used to refer to a person of unspecified gender:
ask a friend if they could help

(sorry for late response)

Disagree completely, I think that the whole "his/her" pronoun thing is a bit silly and politically correct if I may say so. "His" isn't really referring to the person's gender at all but the person himself. It's always been innocuous to use the term "him", same with how you call a female friend a "dude" nowadays to refer to them colloquially. I would just really leave it for the sake of it, as it doesn't, at least for me, being female, having any forbearance on the community at all.
