joined two lobbies and neither gave me the password or connection.

i have to ask for the password dirrectly.

any help as to why this might be is appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Hello there,

 

Please see the image below,

 

The area in the red box is the reconnect button. If a lobby is ready to go then the site should automatically connect you but if it dosen't then clicking this button will connect you to the server (no password required). Failing this however the circled area has a clickable drop down box that should have all the connection info that you need to join the server. I hope this solves your problem, however if you are still having difficulties then let me know.

Are you using Steam browser or a normal browser?

When I have used steam browser it always asks me for a pass, and the info dropdown seems to glitch so I can't get the pass.

When I am using Chrome I do not get asked for a password and the info dropdown doesn't glitch so I can get the pass if needed.

Note: Steam browser IS NOT a supported browser when using TF2Center

 

The steam browser is a stripped down browser and lacks many browser abilities that TF2Center uses/requires

 

If you could let us know what browser you are using, that would be great.
