Hey there. I've been enjoying playing Heavy recently and I am interested in starting to play Heavy competitively. I'm not sure how much my skill would compare but i simply want to ask, at what stage did you guys had the confidence to start playing Heavy on lobbies?

The question is, if you have a full time medic, how confident are you in a typical pub?  Will you topscore?

If the answer is yes, then step up to the plate!

Heavies are a commodity around here, and people will probably welcome you.  May be nice for you to join a lobby as a spec and explain that you're not pro yet, and if it is OK.  The heavy spot's usually open.

You'll get a lot of lobbies in due to your class choice.  Prepare to get good fast.

You never know if you don't try.

If you are going to play lobbies though I would strongly recommend reading this http://forums.tf2cen...f2-heavy-guide/

It's written by one of the best heavies in europe (and maybe the world) so if you follow the advice on that guide you'll be sorted.
