I think there should be tabs above the chat for different places, it would be on world/main chat by default and then there could be na chat, eu chat, and au chat. What do you think?

I've seen this before, can't find it though. There's this which is somewhat related.
I think it would be a good thing to have, especially when people say things like "join this lobby", which is irrelevant if not in your region. The only thing is that I'm not sure it would be implemented any time soon.

The dev team decided it's not worth the development time, because it's basically a gimmick. We may look into it again depending on how TF2C grows.
