I've created a script that will display desktop notifications on certain events like lobby start:

Hey JP, I've moved this to the general discussion area since its not feedback for the site per se. However, I do recommend you chat with Lilith too, who's made a similar thing for a slightly different use case. Perhaps you could join forces?
