I've recently discovered this site and would like to play on the lobbies. But whenever I try to login through steam I'm sent back to the lobbies page and the "sign in through steam" button appears again. Am I missing something or is that an error on your end?

Try Clearing your cookies and clearing your cache. I have this issue sometimes and that seems to do the trick.
