Recently, I hit 600 hours on TF2 and I wanted to join a lobby, but I'm 12 years old (almost 13). Thanks to my age and voice, I'm not sure about joining a lobby since I heard that you need voice communication. Do you guys thing I should join one?

Well you can always play lobbies that don't require mumble and i would reccomend trying something like spy or sniper for the first few lobbies.

like rock said, you don't need to speak in mumble, it's just preferred that you do. Also, as long as you don't spam or squeak, most people don't complain about children. just make important calls.

People mostly dont complain about squeaky voices, unless they're super annoying and babble non-stop. Don't worry about it.

You're not forced to play with mumble (in mumble free lobbies).
Age, voice, sex... Doesn't matter at all for me, unless you are annoying, but it applies to everybody.
I'm "only" 15 years old, and my french accent is awful. So i don't play mumble required lobbies if there are mumble free lobbies.
