Your FAQ statement, "Almost any TF2 server is compatible for use with TF2Center. When you create a lobby, a verification process will occur to ensure your server is ready to host a lobby," is all very well and good but doesn't exactly fill in all the details, such as item whitelists. I assumed whitelists would come under "League configs are automatically executed and applied when a lobby is started," but that appears not to be the case.

In my server.cfg I have this:

// Whitelist
mp_tournament 1
mp_tournament_whitelist "cfg/item_whitelist.txt"
mp_tournament_restart

The contents of the whitelist is the etf2l whitelist, as I pick etf2l settings on lobby creation. For some reason this whitelist gets executed on Test 1v1 lobbies, but having just hosted one I realised it wasn't working, and had to rcon execute the whitelist manually. I've looked through the forums here and my server console logs to try and discover what exactly TF2Center is trying to do, but I'm at a loss. Does the whitelist have to be a specific name? Do I have to put something else/different in my server config? Please help.

Is there any response to this? Either I have to start manually rconning the whitelist in before the start of every match or I accidentally restart the whole lobby when I apply the whitelist with mp_tournament_restart.

This issue is really annoying.

I play Payload maps, if that's a help.

It's kind of complicated to help you with your problem as I don't know what you have/don't have. Do you have relevant configs/whitelists installed in the right locations? I don't see the need for a server guide setup because most players rent/book servers using Serveme which is all setup and doesn't require any manual settings.

It's been fun, thanks for the ride.
