Every time I try to join a lobby, I join the mumble server, join the appropriate channel and connect to the tf2 server. Once all of this is done whenever I try to speak to my team when I am in the game, my game crashes. This is not due to my computers capacity since it can run several programs heavier programs such as photoshop, all at the same time.

Is this an issue with tf2 center mumble servers, with mumble and El Capitan, or maybe my mumble setup?

Please help, I truly want to start out playing lobbies and advancing beyond the pub level but with the issue of mumble I simply can't.

It's probably related to the in-game overlay, that's the only thing TF2 and Mumble have in common. Try to disable it.
