A glaring problem with projectile hitboxes

Depending on your orientation relative to the map, your hitbox can appear up to 40% wider.

I had no idea the hitbox was that large. Make sense for splash damage but nothing elseee
was it this big in quake 3?

I feel that this debug command doesn't actually represent the actual hit boxes.

 

I see more detailed hitboxes in the following:

Even CS 1.6 has better hit boxes; see the second half of https://developer.va...ayer_Networking

You need to enable cheats (sv_cheats 1) and then aim at a player/bot and  type cl_ent_bbox in the console.
