Explanation for unban: Meta is not law. Kenneth, despite your feelings on the pyro class there is no restriction on playing pyro, nor is there a restriction on the class in any competitive league. 

 

I request that my appeal be handled by someone other than Kenneth, who did not even read my full appeal before rejecting.

This is a bit of a contentious issue. The best to look for is top league teams, and there is a trend to running sniper due to the high damage output that really distinguished players are capable of. Unfortunately, I still haven't seen a high-level league match where a pyro has been run permanently, and has matched or surpassed the damage output of one of the more typical classes.

 

Pyro however is perfectly acceptable for defending, so we have no issues there. I suggest you take this into the members or public discussion forum. If someone can provide proof that running pyro from start to finish is a winning strategy, then I think we can reconsider the rules.
