It looks to me like there are people willing to take the cooldown and just not get into mumble ever, although they join mumble lobbies.

Suggestion: after 15 cooldowns, permanent mumble lobby ban.

Maybe something like the reliability system that shows how often a player doesnt join mumble in mumble req lobbies? That was a lob leader can judge if they want this person playing.

In practice this, like reliability, is an oversight for almost all lobby hosts. This is why people complain "there are no consequences for rage quitters" because hosts nearly always (would be cool to see a statistic on this) do not put a reliability requirement. Would be the exact same story with mumble reliability.

I think permanent mumble lobby ban is a bit harsh and it would also create work for staff responding to appeals, would be better to have a system which needs little input to sustain and not piss too many people off. Maybe after every 10, they get banned from TF2C for 3 days or something. 3 days is long enough to make an impact but not so long (like a week) where people will go apeshit on forums. Well, I assume.

TBH I think the only reason reliability isnt taken seriously is because it fluctuates too much and is very easy to get back up. I think a more comprehensive system that could track a players all time mumble usage would give leaders something to actually go off of when deciding who can play in their lobbies.

What if we made the automatic mumbility bans scale steeper? Like, it still starts at that initial 30 mins but starts growing at a significantly greater rate after 5 mumbility or so.
