Hi

So, every time, in every lobby, when the "Ready up" stage starts one player will always leave, and I don't mean he's gonna be put in spectate because he hasn't readied up, they just leave.
So if you could set a punishment for those who leave in the "Ready up" stage that'd be great because it takes AGES to find another player and ultimately he does it again etc etc...

When you enter a lobby, you want to play as soon as possible. Its a normal mindset while being on tf2center.

Lets say there is a blu demoman and blu heavy spot available, you take the demo spot and promptly wait untill the heavy spot is filled. Finally, the heavy spot is taken and all players are prompted to ready up. the heavy clicks "Im not ready" on purpose just to troll all other 17 people (or more) in the game...

All im saying is for this to be fixed by making every time you are not ready go towards your reliability percentage. or have the owner of the lobby report the troll and THAT going towards their reliability.

After reading a lot of this I think the best solution would be to have some form of punishment for leaving a lobby for any reason during the ready up stage (Closing the page, joining spec, timing out). It doesn't have to be a harsh punishment, but one that will add up for people who do it often and prevent people from doing it as often.

The readyup stage is to determine who is ready and who is not ready. People will naturally leave at this stage if they aren't ready. You can't punish them.

A lot of these people are doing it to troll.  I don't see why not.

If you've been waiting in the lobby for the game to start for so long and have not been ready you've already been wasting other players' time. What alternative would you pose to this?

As I already said, I don't see a problem at all. Jumping in and out of a medic slot to test if anyone is not ready will successfully test if anyone is not ready. I don't see anyone doing this to troll but rather to get a preferred slot.

I, as well as many other clearly disagree.

My solution: Once you have joined as a class, you would be completely unable to switch to any other class for that lobby!

Please no, what if I misclick? What if I'm holding a popular class spot for a friend? What if I change my mind about what class I want to play if someone else leaves and opens new a new spot? A better way to do this would be to force the last person to join to already be readied up. But still, if people get kicked, its their fault for being AFK and not pre readying up.

This has been implemented. The last joined person become "ready" automatically.
