I have recently been banned with 3 other people for the abuse of !rep. Ten Second Before Sunrise (dj), Spooky jim (corta) and The recluse are all long time lobby players who repped him. He was a sub who already had many youtube videos released to prove him hacking. He was hitting insane shots and flicking on to our hitboxes.

We all thought we had full reason to rep him and found it outrageous nobody on TF2C has reported him yet.

you got banned bcs you together with other people made a !rep without following it up later-on with a ban request.

 

After you noticed that the guy who you !reped ingame took the time to make a ban-request against yourself resulting in you getting  a join-lobby ban. You took time to report the guy with proof of hacking, resulting in a hacker getting banned and you got access back to play lobbies again.

 

This could be avoided if you and the people who made the !rep in the first place. Straight after a lobby go to forums and report a hacker.

 

Luckily you and your friends provided solid proof and hence he got ip banned, and wont be able to ruin future lobbies : ) great!
