I used to be able to create lobbies anytime at no error, but now when I try to create a lobby, it shows this:

It is stuck at the changing server map to: "map" forever, and at the top right, there's this weird error.

Any help would be appreciated.

This seems to be a game server related issue.  Does it work when you go to the server and manually set the map?

Log into the game server and do the following in the console (tilde menu)

 

> rcon_password (put your rcon pass here)

> rcon maps *

  (a list of available maps will be shown)

 

>rcon changelevel pl_badwater_pro_v7

  (forced map change on the game server.)

I fixed it a while ago, it was the SOAP DM mod that was breaking it, its now fixed on serveme now.

I'm getting this now on my server. It's a new server with Simrai. I used to use F2's plugins but Simrai make it very easy to install TFTrue so I did.

 

I'm wondering if there's a way to test if it has something to do with TFTrue's WORST aspect, the 90 second wait bullshit if STV is on (which it currently always is on my server). I can disable STV but would be better if there was a way around this, assuming this is the cause.

 

Any ideas?

Edit: I can confirm that if your server has STV enabled by default and TFTrue installed, your server will hang on 'changing map' because TFTrue forces servers to wait 90 seconds after you do "rcon changelevel pl_badwater" which is what the lobby site does. You'd need to do that changelevel command *again* for it to not hang.

 

Solution: disable STV by default by editing your server config.

I'm still getting this error.

 

I've disabled the 'Wait for STV' plugin and soapdm and I still cannot make lobbies since it won't get past this stage. I don't use TFTrue.

 

If you join the server during the setup process, the map actually does change to what you set it to, but the configs never get exec'd and the progress bar halts on Center.
