my brother is unable to log in his steam url is  http://steamcommunity.com/id/kolbey.

 

That's because he has never actually tried; his profile does not exist (yet) with us.

I tried signing up but it keeps taking me to a verification page saying that I need to make my profile public. My profile has never been private to my knowledge, and I triple checked in steam and on Chrome and my profile is definitely public. I even tried changing my profile to private, waiting five minutes or so, changing it back to public, and then trying to log in through steam again and it still said my profile was private. 

I really have no idea what else to do, I meet all the requirements.

My friend can't log in, profile was public since the beginning, adblock is off, no bans anywhere (played mostly on pub and old tf2lobby), almost 2k hours of tf2

It says my profile is private but it's never been private that I remember. went and checked it to make sure and it's public. Even steam rep says my profile is public.

Hi guys! If you currently can't log in, can you try launching TF2, join a pub server for a few minutes, then trying to log in to us again? We can only get hours from games you've played in the last 2 weeks, which I think is the cause of most of the reports here.

This is my first time logging and I am not banned from TF2C, VAC, ETF2L, UCG, Sourcebans or any large communities. I have 101 hours played on TF2, my profile is public, and I don't have an adblocker enabled. The prompt tells me I only have 20 hours played. I am in a pub server as I type this.
