Hi!
So I joined a sub spot for a highlander lobby tonight. I tried to join the server and got a "Bad Challenge" error. I've never seen this before.

I then went to the lobby page to reconnect and was autorepped for being "AFK".

Is this a common problem, and if so, how do I fix it? I am not mad about the rep (although I was excited to play) but it's frustrating to be kicked so quickly.

Emily,

I googled "bad challenge" and "tf2" and got a list of forums where people discuss this issue.  In a few minutes, I didn't come up with any good information, however.  Stuff like "restart computer", "verify game cache", "re-install."

In any event, we'd have to file this under a valve/tf2 issue and not tf2c, since it is the game playing portion of a lobby.  TF2C just sends you to the game server, the challenge error is happening on the game server.

Ok, no problem. I was hoping this was a valve thing and not a tf2c thing but I wanted to make sure!
