When i press the "join mumble" button it labels just as MEDIC, however, i would like to be labeled as MEDIC: [insert username here]. Perhaps an option in your profile would be to format the name could be added. For example, lets say i want to play medic. My formatting would be %class%: %username% and i would be labeled as MEDIC: That Martin Guy.

It should be like that, I think it might be a bug. I'll check with the team.

Ooh I thought this was intentional, it happens probably 99% of the time for me (often it says "PYRO" is taken so I have to rename myself). Only a handful of times I've been joined in as "PYRO: Crayboff" automatically.

I'm also always joined into the root channel when I'm just named "PYRO" and the actual lobby channel when it gets my name as "PYRO: Crayboff." Not sure if that's intentional also.

Still, some kind of formatting system, if possible, would be nice. Maybe you wanted to be named [insert name]: MEDIC or something like that.

This is a bit of a corner case, so it's hard to pin what the problem is.

Could you provide OS, Browser and Mumble name?

I get the OP's described behavior consistently when mumble was already open at the time of the lobby launch, but your described behavior when mumble was closed.

Occasionally it is convenient to leave mumble open for the purpose of ensuring that the mumble overlay will be available, and new players often manually click the mumble link before the game launches. Also, some of us manually enter our names for a long time before we figure out why it isn't working:)

Windows 7 / Firefox 36

Sorry for the late reply, but i guess if you want to turn this into a bug report then fine.

I use chrome 41 and windows 7, no ad-block or the like.

Encoding was fixed awhile back.
