I was playing Highlander as pyro. The medic left before the match started and I repped myself and subbed as medic. When I tryed to reconnect to the game through the lobby page in game it would not let me join. Telling me I'm not a lobby player

I think you should have joined Medic and then !repped your pyro, repping yourself was probably the problem.

the sequence here seems valid and should probably work. I will ask devs to look into this.

Currently the system is not designed for swapping slots. It's on the list somewhere at the bottom.
