HI, I've applied a few weeks ago, but apparently I need to write a post on the forums as well, so here it goes:
I'm offering my time and knowledge to help TF2Center grow.
A bit about me: I've been playing TF2 since 2008, joined several communities and projects since then. Most notable are the KWF action that gained popularity on Reddit, helping out eXtv from 2012~2013. After that I moved on to being the ETF2L highlander admin and have hosted several cups and seasons since then. Adminning the mumble and gameservers for several communities and the league in the meantime.
In real life I'm a network administrator (CISCO and ESX specialisation, not sure if it's relevant but I'll mention it atm), but recently moved back to get my Ba in IT&business. I've been specialising into requirement engineering, which by default means I will try my best to translate open questions to direct requirements and feedback towards the technical aspects that TF2Center has to offer.
My main interest has always been propagating the Highlander community and letting it grow further than it has been before. I've been doing this by helping wherever I can (know the people behind colony spreadsheet, LZ HL pickup, pug, tf2pickup) , and I'd like to continue that by assisting TF2center.
Next to that, I've been an HL platinum / premiership player for quite some time, so I'm always keeping my eye on the scene and metagame, knowing the changes and their (in)direct impact on Highlander. My motivation for that is that the scene can be dragged down by the childish and immature players that cheat or try to break rules, and by doing it myself I don't have to rely on other peoples' word to get something done.
Seeing my work and uni require me to have a laptop or smartphone with me, so I'm available throughout the day (CET, bar finals, gym or other scheduled activities).

I hope I can help with creating the value that TF2Center adds to the TF2 community, and weed out the bad apples that try to spoil it and cheat / break rules.
