What is the error exactly? Can you connect to other mumble servers?

no mumble ban.. Can you help us with more details.

How are you joining? Autojoin?  Clicking join mumble button?
what error messages are you seeing?

The auto join doesnt work, when I click it nothing happens.  I have the tf2center mumble saved to my mumble server favorites and try to join off that, and i get a cant join server the (connection timed out) error.  I can connect to other servers, it is just the tf2center mumble.

Daniel,

Feel free to steam add me and we can look into this closer.  Perhaps the mumble server info you have saved is not correct? (mumble.tf2center.com port 64738)

There are thousands of people using the tf2c mumble server with no issue, so I think it is probably your setup or network on your side or ISP.  On a couple occasions, I have worked with people that are not permitted to connect to the tf2c server probably due to some crazy ISP block.  That kind of stuff is rare, but does happen.  It's totally out of our (and possibly your) control.

It would be lovely if I can get a list of stuff to do to fix this problem.

I have been on TF2 center for only 2 days and I am having a problem with Mumble. I cant get it to connect to the mumble server because it says it timed out (see log below). I have tried re installing, getting a new certificate, trying to connect by typing in the mumble information. I have tried connecting to other mumbles on the internet and I get in just fine. Looking at other users who have had this problem I see that their issues might be from a weird ISP block or Mumble Ban.What is wired tho is that If I put the Tf2 center mumble into my favorites It displays my ping and the number of people using the mumble. The highest ping have to it when looking at it is about 70.

LOG:
[7:06:26 PM] Welcome to Mumble.
[7:06:26 PM] Connecting to server mumble.tf2center.com.
[7:06:56 PM] Server connection failed: Connection timed out.

I do also notice that when it says "opening URL Mumble" the stuff after it looks really different compared to other logs that have tried connected. One last thing is that I noted ABP as a critical plugin but I have place TF2 center on the whitelist and I have stooped getting the "remove add block" warnings when in the lobby selection screen. Hpefully we can find out what is going on. Thanks!

Merged all threads.

None of you are on the ban lists, and this seems to be a recurring problem. Devs?

This is the problem I've been having.

I have been able to connect to Mumble by using one of the proxy IP's found here: http://proxylist.hid...304327#listable

And I am waiting for my Mumble ban to be lifted to see if using the same proxy for my browser will keep me from being Mumble banned for "not showing up".

Hope that helps.

Still have no idea how to fix this.

My thread got closed and Luop90 asked a question and it was

"Are you able to connect to other mumble servers"

Yep I can, I hope that kinda help the situation here.

The struggle here is that we, tf2c, have no way that I know of to fix these issues.  I mean, we put up a functioning mumble server, and people are being network blocked.  I wonder if we should just close the issue as "not our problem."  Certainly there is no bug to fix.
