Ok there are many reasons why people hate ads however there the reason why many of your favorite sites and other pieces of media are funded. Right now tf2center has funds from coming from mostly the developers of this site. And if we put in non intrusive ads that does not significantly disturb the experience of tf2center i think the money that comes from this could fund many projects that tf2center wants to implement. Any ideas?

Although extra money won't hurt anyone, in our case they can't solve the main problem - free up more of our time to work on this project. All devs have a full time jobs and are devoting to this project their spare time. So unfortunately more money doesn't mean more projects. But anyway soon we will launch donatorship program, so you will get an opportunity to share your money with us.

Nearly everyone nowadays uses Adblock Plus which means that ad revenue is greatly diminished, so I think it wouldn't be entirely necessary, especially with a donation system round the corner. It could however be implemented at a later stage if required.
