If you did not know left 4 dead 2 also has a competitive side for it however they have never had anything like tf2center just irc pugs. They use the source mod plugin called promod which is how every competitive match is played and changes many things to suit competive l4d2(including a ready up system). If we were gonna do this all we need is servers running promod since tf2center is also on the same engine as l4d2 all the commands will work (like changelevel, rcon, etc.) the only difference is that tf2center would put one command "!match promod". I can see this help many players to get into l4d2 competitive like tf2center has with tf2.

The issue, I'd suspect, isn't so much the technical feasibility as it is the practical feasibility. While yes, that command may work, they already have to manage one complex system, are you really asking them to double their load?

Actually, Enigma and Harbleu suggested to drop the TF2 part of our name and look for other games to support.

Since L4D is based on the same engine and server structure, it would be foolish to ignore the possibility to help the left 4 dead community.

It is actually a nice idea, but we have so much on our plate right now, we have to focus at some point...

CSGOCenter? Nah, enough public matchmaking services for CSGO already exist.

Although the idea itself might be interesting and very promising, we are suffering from the lack of resources to work on TF2 related features. Therefore declined.
