They were executing a config file after we did, changing log 1 into log 0, which turned off logs for file, console and UDP.

This tragically meant we weren't able to capture the logs we need. Tragic. See what I did there?

By default, our "server.cfg" included "log 0". That's a mistake on my part and overlooked.

Yup, I did see what you did there ;)

Wouldn't hurt if you guys added "log 1" when you start a lobby, I'm sure there are other servers with similar issues.

I tried to join a lobby as a blue soldier substitute, but the server did not kick the soldier that was reported. I had to stay in mumble and spectate the match until it ended or else I would be reported since I was connected to the soldier spot. This happened to me yesterday as well, but I don't remember the lobby number.

Kirito,

Sounds like a common issue.  I am merging threads.

Edit: if someone gets repped, there should usually be a server owner in the game.  He/she could use RCON.  What a great way to use admin in an approved of way!

I have noticed that this was indeed a tragic server.

There is a known, fixable server issue that causes servers rented through tragic servers to have an issue where !rep will not remove a player.

For now, the fix needs to be pursued by the person renting the server.  I will merge this thread.

Reopening this for dev input.

Seems to be it would be simple/quick fix to add "log 1" to configs sent via. RCON to initialize the server.  Dev response required to validate or decline this.

Report system not working period. 3 lobbies I was in, and we played 5v6 cause the report system would not initate.

Server IPs / Lobby numbers? When the rep system doesn't work, it usually means that the server is blocking UDP traffic.

We do apply a "log 1" command when the server gets initialized. Just to be safe, applied "log 1" after map change as well.

The !rep function is not working for me too. I cant see players connecting on the website.

Server IPs: 5.9.34.188:27016 (maybe our IP range is blacklisted?)

and            5.9.34.188:27021

we have no firewall blocking outgoing connections

logs are on. I checked all the things mentioned here: http://forums.tf2cen...-server-issues/

I see this in our server console:

# nc -u rc.tf2center.com 5995
nc: Write error: Connection refused

example lobby:: TF2Center Lobby #279995" can grab additional if needed

Manual repping doesn't work. Any command to rep doesn't prompt anything.

Fixed today. It was a part of a whole line of errors that were completed.
