Greetings,

I know this is more about our server we use for lobbies and not the site but I could not find a more appropriate place to ask.

A friend of mine has recently started renting a server for the purpose of hosting lobbies. Almost everything functions as needed save for two things.

1. !rep does not function at all in game.Nothing happens when anyone attempts the command. Not certain if we are missing a plugin or if just a connection issue with tf2center and the server.

2. We have played well over 20 rounds on the server but none of our lobbies add to anyone's lobbies played count.

Any assistance would be awesome.

It seems that TF2C doesn't recognize the server somehow?

Well; one thing we expect is that incoming traffic should be the same as outbound. So if you're using complicated networking, TF2C will not recognize your IP and think you're just a random server spamming stuff...

You should check what your gateway IP is by opening a browser from the server to http://www.whatismyip.com/

I personally had this issue when i was routing traffic through a vps to my server for better ping.. as MNoob said, if the ips differ from what it sends to vs what it gets from, you will have an issue.

Edit: That being said there are ways to fix this on your side, I just need to look into it.

Not sure what the problem is exactly, but I've seen multiple threads with this problem and no one has suggested a fix. Use the logs from my lobby #178253. I'll help to provide any additional information.

Server logs are not being received by TF2C. Something at your end seems to be blocking UDP traffic to us.

To put it short, if you are running TragicServers, TF2C will likely not work correctly with your server. This includes no sub requests, lobbies not counted, connection info not shown, and "Socket Timeout Occurred" error happening in the logs.

So after I managed to get logs to work It seems now that no one in the server is able to !rep players when they leave. I just wanna know what might be causing this and if it is a issue on my side or yours. I'm leaning towards me.

yea removed whatever values i saw on my server cfg. It didn't solve the issue. What do the values need to be set at for !rep to work?

Can someone post their working server cfg and maybe I can replace the one i'm using for that one.

I am also not receiving stats for lobbies played when I host a game.

Can you PM me your server IP and port, or just post a lobby number here of an affected lobby?

Seems lately the report system is not working at all. Just played a lobby where our demo went AFK. Spent majority of the match 5v6 since we tried to report on several occasions, and nothing would register. On top of that, the leader could not kick him from the server. But, that's besides the point.

Lobby #240870

log : logs.tf/509869

Server : connect shrimpy.game.nfoservers.com:27015

Thx,

Smoke

We have finally found the solution to the reporting issue. Special thanks to Some_Thing, he's been incredibly helpful to get this fixed.

If you have (or know someone) a server with us, just send in a ticket at http://tickets.tragicservers.com/ and I'll get it fixed for you.

Overall, I apologize to the community it's taken this long but we're here to make it right and improve your TF2Center experience with our servers.

I also verified with Some_Thing to make sure it's okay posting on TF2C forums.

Thanks,

Roilan
