A friend of mine get a ban request: http://forums.tf2cen...lo-e-simpatico/

and he got banned

I was in the same lobby (as you can see in the log) and i was at his place using his network so we had the same IP and I got banned too (as well as 2 other of my friends that were playing there too)

So please remove the ban because i havent done anything to deserve it

Its kind of odd that you and his other friend both posted nearly the same exact yhread.

Yes, we were all playing at his house, using the same network. If you are suspecting us to be alt accounts, that is not possible, as you can see, we were all palyin in the same lobby

Our friend was wrong, and he admitted his fault. But we were banned for no reason.

Since we all love so much your site and the service it provides us, we would really like to be able to play again

Today i discovered that the permanent ban applied to io sono bravo, bello e simpatico was put to me (and also to the other 2 of my friend who are currently asking to be unbanned for the same reason) without any warnin

1)I was never been reported

2)I never told anyone to go to kill himself multiple times

3)here I have always maintained a good and polite behavior

4)I never insulted anyone nor in game chat and even on their steam profile

I would like to have an explanation of this and an answer to what can I do and or which information i could provide to resolve this

It's an auto-IP ban. If you shared an IP with him at any time (which apparently you did), your account will be banned whenever one is applied to his account.

unbar him to unbar us all, and then ban him alone!

and we're not in the same ip now...so if you ban "io sono bello" from his own ip now, if the ban is ip linked, we won't be banned i think...right?

Incorrect, if you ever share an IP, even once, it'll auto-ban the accounts connected with it. I'm waiting for io soon belle's ban to be moved from 10 years to permanent before taking action, otherwise we'll have this issue again, since he seems to be unable to stay out of trouble.

this is a BIG bug in the ban system... and if for whom developed this thing its inconceivable that people meet together to play in the same place i dont even know what to say...

Its not a bug, it was purposely implemented to stop alts from being created/used to bypass a ban. SourceBans does the exact same thing, only on client connects. TF2C simply does it when the ban is implemented. Banning IPs is the oldest trick in the book to prevent someone from using alts.
