Explanation for unban: It was my second lobby played and thus I was still trying to figure out how to be an useful teammate. However, there was a nasty guy on Mumble, namely "TF2C | MasterNoob" (who was also the lobby's leader); he was mostly flaming people around because of being bad (I was one of them). As he was also flaming in the chat, our engineer (who wasn't on Mumble) decided to '!rep' MasterNoob, probably because he wasn't enjoying the negative attitude either. I decided to report him too and soon four people reported him; he was replaced with the sub as we finished the 'round' on Dustbowl.

 

At the end of the match, I realised that I've got banned for 1 week with the reason "go back to pubs boy". I did spend a while reading the rules before playing so as to avoid any unconvenience, but I honestly still can't understand why I deserve such a long ban.

Well, it's been nearly one day and he still hasn't answered. Furthermore, he logged in and posted multiple times on other topics, but not on this one. Does even take this seriously? Could someone, please, ask him to read this.

I see. So, even if you knew he'll likely not answer, you still told me to wait. Is this the way you solve requests around here?

 

Aside from that, even if the staff member MasterNoob supposedly read this topic (as he was asked by one of his trustworthy mods and after having more than 24h), I still haven't received a decent answer towards my question related to the ban.

Andrei, you need to be very careful here. Your story is a bit one-sided; you were literally fucking around at your second Lobby. I repeatedly told you, and the rest of the team, how things work, but yet you find it more important to go solo. Dustbowl or not, understand that it is stupid to report a leader or even a staff member.

 

That being said, I admit I got carried away a bit. Therefore I have unbanned you as of this moment. I strongly recommend you listen to more experienced players in Mumble to step up your game, or otherwise: "get back to pubs boy".
