I've tried all of the solutions that have been posted in this forum and still have no luck. It's something on my end, obviously, but I just don't know what at this point. Any other help or tips that could be offered would be much appreciated!

just a little update on my side- I'm now using my home internet connection and it works fine. Must have been something to do with the ISP as I haven't changed anything on my side apart from my connection.

Just checking in to see if there's been any changes or advancements in understanding the issue with the refresh bug.

Any news on the bug yet? I still have this problem which severely hampers me when I want to play centers just for fun, or to practice with members of my Highlander team.

when we will deploy our "official" release, HTTPS will be applied and should solve all this. until that time, hang in there ;-)

Thanks, this bug is really frustrating, having to manually watch and refresh lobbies until they are ready is not fun. :(

Hi, so I am having some issues with TF2 Center, the lobby list never updates, I have to manually refresh it, when I am in a lobby the ready up thing never appears, I have to leave the afk ready times on, and I always have to mash F5. It works fine on my Mac, but not on my Windows 7 Firefox. I recently reformatted.

Yes, TF2C now officially only works correctly on mac, the devs have made it so that it's very hard to play through windows. You may encounter other problems such as not launching mumble properly, being connected to a Saxton Hale server as opposed to your lobby, or an endless stream of opening windows that say "l8r nerd use a real comp". All of these, and more, can be avoided by using a mac!

In all seriousness, this should all be solved when HTTPS is applied, which will come with the official release.

Have been having this issue for a while now, just tried a few different browsers (firefox, chrome) and none of them worked on a win 8.1 system, that beta link doesnt appear to be functioning, it simply tells me the page is unavaible. Hope this HTTPS fix is coming soon because its a real stuggle to use the site as is :(

So there is a HTTPS version of the site available currently at https://rc.tf2center.com - the downside is that links, steam and mumble buttons aren't working (cross-protocol stuff and HTTPS doesn't mix well). You could try that though, and check if the updating is gone at least?

Hi, I have this bug like 2 days ago, and im here to show my solution!
Like Marley said, I tried the https version and everything works fine, but I need to add an addon on mozilla firefox (My web browser for default, idk if you can do this too on chrome) 'cuz the page show me as a "http" site and I change it for a https.

(sorry for the grammar xD)

First of all, download and install this addon. Restart Firefox after that

Later, go to tf2center.com and you will see a logo like this one: (For you maybe this will show you with a "+")

IFA46aD.png

Click it, and the "+" thing will turn into a "-"

Just Refresh the page for last time or go F5

And ready! thats how this work!

Hi, I have been experiencing the issue below found in the FAQ section. However, I have disabled the proxy server within Firefox and am still having the same issue. I have also tried disabling the automatic configuration in my LAN settings (although I'm not positive this was necessary). This issue is occurring on every browser that I try, IE, Firefox and Chrome.

Both the main lobby page and individual lobby pages do not refresh, rather, I have to manually refresh the page - this method does not allow me to "ready-up" for lobbies and I get dropped 9/10 times that I try (pre-ready does not help either).

If anyone else has had a similar issue I'd love to hear your solutions. Thanks.

Lobbies do not refresh automatically and I don't get notifications regarding lobbies starting the game?

This can occur if you are behind a restrictive proxy server. If possible, disable your proxy server prior to logging into TF2Center.

After a frustrating week of lobby pages not refreshing and an hour of reading the forums, I can confirm that this works for me. Thanks!!

Might as well say this here-

(Public announcement, sorta)

If you are using https://rc.tf2center.com to fix the Refresh bug, the "Join Mumble" and "Join Server" buttons won't work. (Its complicated)

Easy Fix? Right click on button -> Open link in new tab.

The Launch Application request will pop up, accept it, and you're good.
