[Pickle Da Goldfish]

I don't know if anybody has already thought of this before (it's quite a simple format) but it's basically 6s except you have 2 offense classes, 2 defense classes, and 2 support classes. Also, you can't stack any classes.

Pretty simple shit. Anyways, I'm looking for players to test this format, I want to see how well it works. I want to test payload, 5CP, KOTH, and Attack/Defend. Also, I have no idea how to actually have these limits in the server so I'm trusting that everybody who is interested will just play along and not stack classes or have more than 2 offense, defense, or support classes.

So if you're interested in playing this just reply "bepis" to this post. 

 

Also, I'm calling this format "triduo".

A lot of people were unhappy with how I used roles as a way to limit what you can choose, so I made this shit in 2 seconds. Would this be better?

(Ignore the roles as they are meaningless)

Can you tell me your reasoning for this change so I can understand it better?

Because scout, demoman and soldier are the most mobile classes.

Scout in it self is more versatile than the sniper like the other 2 classes in offense.

Sniper though has a lot more trouble switching fast between defense and offense.

I think if you would play with this roster there would always be a scout on support for his 2x cap rate and versatility.

And in the offense almost always a demo and soldier for their mobillity

that is why placing them together would be better it would force players to choose which of the mobile classes they have to run

But that is my opnion you cant know for certain what works without testing it of course

That makes a lot sense, the only problem is that then you would have to choose between sniper pyro and spy which would lead to sniper always being ran. Again, this will require testing.

Discord server is no longer up. We couldn't find more members and stayed at 6 discord members. As time went by I also started disliking my idea because:

1. The restrictions are already arbitrary but once you change the "2 per role" rule into a "2 per column of 3" rule it becomes even more arbitrary.

2. TF2's balancing is more of a problem than the 6s meta. i.e. Disciplinary Action gives anyone free speed with no reprucussions. Making a new format because of TF2's balancing causing a stale meta isn't the best idea.

Kingslayer is willing to accept, if:

-We have to make 2 LPs or 1
-We have to make 8 tags

Also, we have an idea for a theme being the team name, and what it means to you and stuff
