Disclaimer: I've used a proxy to access the rules section of the website (http://rc.tf2center.com/rules/) as I'm not allowed to view any page under "rc.tf2center.com". I apologize if this is in violation of a rule, but I'm unsure why banned players are disallowed from viewing the page; I feel that it would help people figure out what they did wrong at the very least, as I received no warnings nor explanation of my sudden ban.

I've read over the rules, and I'm unsure of why I was banned. The other day, I played a badwater lobby as a Medic, and there were a few situations in which I made agreeably bad plays due to poor positioning and a general inexperience with Medic as a class, but overall I feel like my actions were less impacting than actions I've observed being taken by many other players in the past (Dual spy plays in 6's centers, demoknights in highlander, or other actions that would fall under rule 4.5). I made the decision to roll on with my mistakes as just something else fun that happened (No use in expressing anger, and I figured a laugh and an "I'm not trying" would suffice to cover my mistakes. The community tends to be hostile toward players not skilled in a class, and I'd rather not have been yelled at for being inexperienced as I've had this happen to me before.), and players on my team took offense to this. After doing reasonably well, a friend and I were both kicked from the server by the lobby owner (Who I assume also reported me) because I apparently joined the lobby with the ill intent to throw (The only indication of this that I could think of would be me meleeing a sentry gun twice, because it was wrangled and I was infront of it. I was probably going to die anyway, so I figured I'd have fun with it. Secondly, I popped kritz on an engineer friend that was running Widowmaker. He ended up getting a few kills, and we all had good fun with it.). He briefly joined the mumble channel afterward, saying something to the effect of "Don't join a lobby to troll". I and my friend were obviously angry at this, and having known the server operator in the past, I let my anger get the best of me and made a series of hostile comments toward him, addressed in discussion to my (also upset) teammates in the center. I acknowledge that this was a poor decision, and if I had contact with the server owner I would love to give him an actual apology (I'm unaware if he even heard me, and I doubt he'd accept a friend invite) and I would also like to apologize to anybody that I offended in the mumble channel (None of my comments were mean to be offensive to a specific group of people. I made several "stick up his ass" comments out of anger, but they were not meant as an insult to race, seuxality, gender, or any other group. Simply to refer to someone as being arrogant, or snobby, which I also realize was justifiable behavior on his behalf.). I doubt that they'd read this to hear me apologize in any case, but I digress.

A few times, around the same time period, I didn't join "you are expected to join mumble" centers' mumbles. If this is the cause for my ban, I'd like to say that there were no warnings given to me nor can I find any rule explicitly stating that it is a bannable offense to not participate in the comms.

I also noticed in rules 1.1 and 1.5 that my profile may have included content that could be seen as discriminating. Specifically, my Steam profile's URL was "http://www.steamcomm...autistic_faggot". However, I had not previously considered this to be an issue for the reason that I was making fun of myself as I am not heterosexual, and I do have Asperger's Syndrome (A high-functioning form of Autism. Wikipedia link.). I have changed my profile URL to /id/orange_cake to avoid offending others in the future, and I sincerely apologize to anybody that I have previously offended with this url.

The second part to the profile concerns is my profile picture, which includes an image taken from a google image search, and edited to be a bit more entertaining to myself. The only thing offensive I could see in this image is a repeating "<3Men" background, which again I had not considered could be offensive to anybody else and was an in-joke to myself. Again, I apologize for any offense caused and I will change the image as soon as I can find another suitable picture (I've had many in the past, but I need to find them on my hard drive first).

I'm sorry for the length of this post, but I frequently enjoy the services provided by this system to help me practice; warm up; just otherwise have fun in an organized setting, and I'd love to continue using the service as a rule-abiding player. I apologize for my mistakes and I will take great care in the future to make sure that I follow the guidelines as best as I can. Finally, I'd like to address one last apology to anybody that I've offended, as it was never my intent, and you most certainly did not deserve my destructive speech.

Edit: I would also like to say that my friend was not banned, but I was. I'm unsure of why this is, and I'm very curious as to why specifically I was banned.

You were not banned for trolling. You were banned for exploiting mp_highlander mode. Essentially you used a class limits and team change exploit, that only works when mp_highlander mode is on, to teleport into the other team's spawn, and kill the medic while she was in spawn.

You can find the details here.

Exploits like these are just as bad as hacking.
