A glitch was responsible for my cooldown. I was looking for a lobby, and when I found one, I tried to join an empty slot, and even though I clicked it, it would not let me join the slot. Then another player joined the slot I was in, and when I went back to the TF2Center lobby page, it said the lobby was full, so I assumed that he joined the slot first and that my web browser refused to update that. So, I found another lobby to play on, and joined it, but after some waiting, I got a notification saying I was reported and removed from a lobby, and that I now had a 1 day cooldown.
