Hello! I am new to TF2center and im very happy to be here! but there is something that is disturbing me..

i noticed i suck at my main.

 

i am a huge fan of the scout class, i love his mechanics and properties! i played tf2 for 1220hours in total, almost 300hours playing scout!

 

I use to only play casual, last week i tought i was good enough to try lobbies

i noticed that i miss alot of good shots, that i don't really dodge well, and that i cant beat other scout because of that..

 

I am trying to train on MGE and DM servers, but i just dont see any improvement, i just feel like im garbage to the game, and i also feel the same when i miss a shot or when i die :c

 

I am also watching alot of scout gameplay and tutorial on youtube, alot helped me but... i just don't seem to play good enough

 

I know my roles as scout, in any team RED or BLU, and even on all main gamemodes! I know how to postition myself, since i have issue speaking i have binds like "I KILLED THE MEDIC!!!" "SPY BEHIND US!!!" "THE OBJECTIVE!!!" to communicate rapidly

 

my main issue: my aim really sucks, even tho when i land a hit it does over 60damage.. i feel ashamed

second issue: I dont have enough reflex or im not clever enough to dodge or to duke my target..

 

i know i should play more scout to be better at it, but i always feel ashamed of myself! just remember i have 1220hours total and almost 300hours on scout

 

i know how to flank, wich target to focus and loadouts to alot of absic situation

 

my loadout:

seems obvious why i choose this

 

pistol

to clean up and deal med-long range damage rapidly

 

Wrap assasin

this one is un-common and have a bad reputation for beeing useless, i after using it for almost all my scout playtime, i am pretty good at using it and i learned that this melee can be a beast! well.. a beast lemme explain: 

 

Wrap assasin can be used to launch a ball at the enemy sniper to make him retreat from his bleeding effect

Can be used for extra DPS on high-value target

track spies(spies doesnt emit blood particle with wrap assasin, they emit sort of very visible snowflakes)

Wrap assasin + mad milk = self pocket medic

small self damaging to steal heathpack from the ennemy team, just like spy

and it's also recharging evry fast! around 6seconds!

 

so, can annyone tell me why am my aim is bad or how i can improve overall without feeling like crap?

im doing DM and MGE and PUB to train everything

i have done only 4lobbies, and those 4lobbies already did helped me know more about positioning and when to capture

 

if you know how to give me determination or if you know how to i improve better tell me, any help will be really appreciated!

Watch more scout comp videos, have more practice in pubs. There's no one solution to this.

playing mge/dm for a few days won't make you better; but doing it consistently for a considerable amout of time (like +2week or even a month) you'll slowly notice an improvement.

if your seeing all the amazing pictures on the internet, remember that they are all processed. So if you want to improve the look of your images, dont skimp on learning post processing either PS, CS4, LR, etc...

Dont do adadada because you will not move an big distance do longer strafes like aaaaaadddaaaaaaddddddaaaaaddd

I really agree with EH. You must speak more in English if you want to improve your oral English. Recently I have gained a lot of confidence and improvement after I talk more with my friends in English. Try to express your ideas in English.

Use 3" number 3 or 4 and the improved cylinder choke and shoot lots. The more you shoot the better shot youll become.

There is lots more to becoming a good shot than this but the above is a good start. The IC choke is the single best change you can make to improve your success.
